Welcome to the Infected Blood Community Choir!
This choir was set up by Melanie Richmond and Leslie Brownless, both of whom were infected. We both know firsthand the struggles the infected blood community faces, especially with mental health. We truly believe that coming together for a social event like singing can make a real difference.
This isn’t a campaign group; it’s simply a place for us to connect, share, and enjoy music. We’re incredibly lucky to have Bob Strachan as part of our team. Bob is a talented songwriter, singing coach, singer, and music producer, and he tragically lost his own father to infected blood.
We warmly welcome everyone affected by infected blood, regardless of their singing ability. Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or have never sung a note in your life, your voice is valued here. We believe that every individual’s contribution adds to the rich tapestry of our sound and our story.
Beyond singing, we actively encourage songwriting and vocalists from within the community. We want to provide a platform for your experiences, your resilience, and your hopes to be woven into the fabric of our music. Come and be a part of something truly special.
